For the last 15 years he’s worked extensively with Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, France Football (2018 World Cup winners), England football, UEFA and Team GB Olympic medalists, PGA Golf major winners, through to headline musicians, FTSE 100 companies and executives.

He was a project lead of an international team of 31 authors to produce the ‘UEFA Expert Group Statement on Nutrition in Elite Football‘, the best practice guidelines within the sport, published in The British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM).

James has applied his principles to the public for over a decade through his Harley Street practice  and work as president of The Royal Society of Medicine’s Food and Health Forum (2015-2017).

He’s the author of the critically acclaimed book ‘The Energy Plan’ (Penguin Random House) which focuses on the key principles of fuelling for peak performance. He’s a columnist for the Telegraph and BBC and his work has been covered on CNN, BBC 1 and the BBC World Service.

James Collins has joined Skin In The Game as an Investment Principle. Alongside his current role as Managing Director at INTRA Performance Group, James will support CEO Scott Newall with deal origination and due diligence, leveraging his experience, expertise and network to identify investment opportunities across sports, health and fitness.
